Community Institutions
"Kiryat Sanz", established by the Rebbe of Sanz of blessed memory, and under the leadership of our master, the current Rebbe of Sanz shlita, has become a lovely dwelling place in the city of Netanya. The facts speak for themselves; Kiryat Sanz is a proper Jewish metropolis with all the characteristics of a major Jewish center. This is a community based on genuine Torah values. The Kirya has a high standard of living. A resident of the Kirya can stay within the borders of the community for a long period of time without having to depart from there. The Kirya provides its residents with all the necessary community services. Besides the various institutions which provide a varied and extensive range of services in the fields of education, instruction, prayer, studies, health, medicine and nursing care, it has other enterprises and community institutions, which cover a wide-range of services and demonstrate the Kirya's concern for the public as a whole and the individual within It. All together, the Institutions form a complete system that ensures organized, civilized community life.
Several shuls are situated in Kiryat Sanz, and in the heart of the community is the "Central Shul". This impressive sanctuary and the 4 halls for prayer and Torah study adjacent to it, bustle with scholars busy with their studies and worshippers absorbed in prayer most of the hours of the day.
- Kollel for Community Members : For senior citizens and pensioners, there are organized daily Torah study sessions.
- Mishnayos Group : Study of mishnayos in a set minyan in memory of the deceased.
- Beit Din Zedek : Different legal cases and deliberations that occur within the community are brought before the Beit Din Zedek of Kiryat Sanz. The Rebbe shlita, himself, serves as the head of the Beit Din.
Mikva : A spacious and modern mikva is located in a well-designed building.
- Supermarket for Large Families : The special supermarket allows large families to purchase all their household needs at low prices.
- Simcha Hall: A beautiful, well-decorated and spacious hall is located in the center of the Kirya. Any member of the community who has a family occasion is allowed to use the hall free of charge.
- Gemilut Chasadim Funds : The Kirya has several Gemach funds from which the residents can take interest-free loans should they so require.
Yoshvei Ohel
Specified apartment buildings for young couples are spread out throughout the Kirya and Eretz Yisrael in general. This project was another brilliant idea of the Rebbe of blessed memory, to give honor to Torah and its Scholars.
As a continuation to this idea, more buildings for "Yoshvei Ohel" have been constructed in recent years in the eastern and western areas of the Kirya, in Teveria and in Haifa. Each one is sold at cost price and is subsidized with easy terms of payment.
